1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Shepherd, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

Shepherd is a ministry management platform designed for churches and religious organisations. We provide tools for managing first-time visitors, departments, attendance, communications, and more.

3. Account Registration

When creating your account:

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Each church organisation requires a separate account
  • You must be authorised to represent your church to create an account

4. Subscription and Payment

  • Shepherd offers a 60-day free trial for new organisations
  • After the trial period, a subscription fee is required to continue using the platform
  • Current pricing: Small ₦7,500/mo, Standard ₦18,000/mo, Growth ₦35,000/mo, Enterprise ₦75,000/mo
  • Payments are processed by Paystack
  • Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled
  • No refunds for partial months

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Shepherd for any unlawful purpose
  • Share account credentials with unauthorised individuals outside your church
  • Attempt to access other organisations' data
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Reverse engineer or copy the platform

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your church's data. Shepherd does not claim ownership of any content you upload or create. We act as a data processor on your behalf.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with advance notice where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting hello@getshepherdapp.com. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Shepherd is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding month.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you via email of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
